摘　　要：从模因论角度分析英语新闻标题的模因构建手段及其构建过程中应注意的问题。选择合理的模因复合体构建的英语新闻标题,有利于抓住新闻读者转瞬即逝的注意力,获得很好的传播效应。This paper has conducted intensive analyses on the construction of English news headlines from the perspective of memetics. It turns out that Memetics- based English news headlines can be more eyecatching, and more likely to be widely duplicated and propagated by the masses with proper choice of memeplexes .
