从《喜福会》的母女关系看东西方文化的对立与融合  

Clash and Coexistence of the Oriental and Occidental Culture Reflected in the Mother-Daughter Relationship in Amy Tan’s the Joy Luck Club

摘　　要：本文从小说《喜福会》母女关系主题入手,通过对四对母女关系的矛盾冲突到融洽的心路历程的分析,折射出东西方文化从冲突与对立走向沟通与融合的现象。Focusing on the theme of the mother-daughter relationship in Amy Tan's the Joy Luck Club,this paper analyzes the progression from the conflict to the harmony between the four mothers and their respective four daughters,which reflects the development from the clash to the coexistence of the oriental culture and occidental culture.
