汉英口译失误分析——以记者招待会为例

摘　　要：记者招待会是一种重要的对外宣传方式。高级口译员在会议中的作用不容忽视。高级译员的口译实践语料既是口译教学的宝贵资源,又是口译研究的重要对象。本文基于自建的记者招待会汉英口译语料库对高级译员口译失误进行了定量和定性的分析,发现高级译员的口译失误可以归纳为十种类型,其中用词不当和长句的使用失误最为常见。高级译员、口译教师和口译学习者都应对这些失误给以足够重视,从而提高我国口译工作者的口译水平。Press conference is an important means of outreach publicity,and senior interpreters’ significant role at the conference should not be ignored.Senior interpreters’ interpretation training material is not only a valuable resource,but also an important research object of interpretation.Based on self-built Press Conference Chinese-English Interpretation Corpus,a quantitative and qualitative analysis on the interpretation errors has been conducted.Results indicate that interpretation errors of senior interpreters can be generalized into ten types,with inappropriate use of words and long sentences being the most common types.Senior interpreters,interpretation teachers and trainees should pay due attention to these errors so as to enhance the level of interpretation.
