摘　　要：西部地区是中国经济和教育发展都较为落后的区域,教育的改革与发展对其社会和经济的发展起着至关重要的作用。通过对西部地区成人高等教育发展的现状分析,找出制约西部地区成人高等教育发展的问题,研究促进西部地区成人高等教育发展的对策,确保西部地区成人高等教育事业持续、稳定、健康的发展。Compared to the other areas in China,western area is backward both in economical and educational development.Western area＇s educational reform and development is vital to its social and economical development.Through to the present situation analysis of adult higher education development in western area,this article devotes in discovering the problem which restricts the area＇s adult higher education development and？ develop the strategy promoting the area＇s adult higher education development to guarantee the area＇s adult higher education can develop sustainably,stably and healthily.
