摘  要:目的:探讨咀嚼口香糖能否有效缓解个体压力及焦虑水平。方法:选取48名南京市在校大学生为被试,在两天中,分别在咀嚼与不咀嚼条件下,进行定义强度的压力模拟器(DISS)任务。通过系列实验检验咀嚼口香糖是否可以提高不同难度认知任务的作业水平,并测量被试唾液的皮质醇含量。结果:基线条件下,实验前后自评压力差异显著;在执行认知任务过程中,咀嚼条件下唾液皮质醇增加显著低于非咀嚼条件的唾液皮质醇。结论:DISS任务能够有效地引发焦虑情绪,咀嚼口香糖可以明显降低任务执行过程中产生的唾液皮质醇含量。Objective:This research tested the hypothesis that chewing gum may relieve stress and enhance working efficiency at different difficulty levels.Methods:48 undergraduates were recruited in a randomized crossover design.Participants were instructed to perform on the multi-tasking framework at low and moderate intensities(on separate days) both while chewing and not chewing,with saliva samples collected meanwhile.Results:In baseline condition,performing the platform resulted in significantly self-reported increased stress and state anxiety.In addition in low level of stress the cortisol levels were significantly lower in chewing condition.Conclusion:DISS task is effective in eliciting anxiety states.Chewing gum can significantly decrease the salivary cortisol during the task process.Chinese people show the same performance observed in western researches only in the lower stress condition.
