摘　　要：Hibiscus syriacus is one of the flower trees that were known and used most early in Chinese history.During the course of exploring and utilizing Hibiscus syriacus,abundant culture about it was accumulated,and became an important part of traditional culture of China.Hibiscus syriacus culture,including its name,form,habit,use and spirit meaning,was collected and analyzed in the paper,so as to advocate making full use of traditional flower resources.Hibiscus syriacus is one of the flower trees that were known and used most early in Chinese history.
