摘　　要：超个人心理学是从人本主义心理学阵营中分化出来的一个新流派,形成于20世纪60年代末70年代初的美国。詹姆斯首次提出了"超个人"的概念,进行了大量关于超个人心理现象的研究,并且与学院派的实验心理学家们进行斗争,以捍卫超个人心理现象的研究。詹姆斯的思想为超个人心理学提供了思想源泉和有益启示。Transpersonal psychology, a new school of theory derived from humanistic psychology, was formed in America during the late 1960s to the early 1970s. It is William James who first proposed a concept of ＂super-individual＂ and then did a lot of research on the phenomenon of transpersonal psychology. He also strug- gled with academic experimental psychologists to defend the research on the phenomenon of transpersonal psychology. James＇ thoughts provided a useful source of idea and enlightenment for transpersonal psychology.
