摘　　要：1. Introduction to Sinclair Lewis and Main Street Sinclair Lewis (1885-1951) is regarded as one of the foremost American satirists in the early twentieth century. He cared for books more than sports and felt limited by his rural hometown. In 1925, he rejected the Pulitzer Prize for Arrowsmith because he felt that he deserved the prize for Main Street.1.
