摘　　要：阐述了科技查新工作的一般流程和查新员与委托人沟通的重要性,分析了委托人填写委托书时的心态和常见问题,研究了查新员如何提高与委托人沟通的能力,为查新(特别是高校科技查新)工作的顺利进行提供一定的帮助。This paper expounds the general working process of sci-tech novelty retrieval and the importance of the communication between novelty retrievers and clients,analyzes the psychological state and common problems of the clients in filling in the letter of authorization,and studies the problem of how to improve novelty retrievers’communication ability with clients for providing some helps for the smooth implementation of novelty retrieval（especially sci-tech novelty retrieval in university）.
