摘　　要：本文以认知科学理论为依据，围绕ICM理论所包含的四大认知模型：命题模型、意象图式模型、隐喻模型和转喻模型，分别论述了该理论对语义省略的解释力。This paper, on the basis of cognitive science, endeavors to expand on the explanatory power of ICM to the understanding of ellipsis by its four cognitive models： propositional model, image schema model, metaphor model and metonymy model.
