摘 要:目的:探讨牛磺酸和甘糖酯对糖尿病(DM)大鼠体内自由基防御机能和肾功能的影响。方法:牛磺酸(300mg/kgBW)和甘糖酯(100mg/kgBW)给予DM大鼠3周后,检查体内抗氧化酶活性,抗氧化物质水平和肾脏功能。结果:DM大鼠红细胞还原型谷胱甘肽(GSH)含量、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性及肾皮质CAT活性均明显低于对照组,而红细胞、血清和肾皮质脂质过氧化物(LPO)水平明显高于对照组。牛磺酸处理的DM大鼠红细胞GSH含量、SOD和CAT活性明显高于未处理的DM大鼠,而红细胞、血清和肾皮质LPO水平则明显低于DM大鼠。甘糖酯给予DM大鼠后明显升高红细胞GSH含量和CAT活性并降低血清和肾皮质LPO水平。牛磺酸和甘糖酯处理均能减少DM大鼠的BUN含量和尿蛋白排泄量。结论:牛磺酸和甘糖酯可部分改善DM大鼠体内自由基代谢的紊乱和肾脏功能异常。AIM:To explore the effects of taurine and proglylene glucol mannate sulfate (PGMS) on defensive function against free radicals and renal function.METHODS:Taurine (300 mg/kg BW) and PGMS (100 mg/kg BW) were administrated to diabetic rats for 3 weeks and the defensive function against free radicals and renal function were examined. RESULTS:GSH content, activities of SOD and CAT(catalase) in erythrocytes and CAT activity in renal cortex decreased markedly and LPO levels in erythrocytes, serum and renal cortex increased significantly in diabetic rats compared with controls. In taurine-treated diabetic rats, GSH content, activities of SOD and CAT in erythrocytes, and CAT activity in renal cortex were higher, while levels of LPO in erythrocytes,serum and renal cortex were lower than those in untreated diabetic rats. PGMS administration to diabetic animals increased GSH content and CAT activity in erythrocytes and reduced levels of LPO in serum and renal cortex. Taurine-and PGMS-treated diabetic rats exhibited reduction in both blood urea nitrogen content and urinary protein excretion. CONCLUSION:Taurine and PGMS reverse, in part, the disorder of free radical metabolism and the lesion of renal function in diabetic rats.
