摘　　要：现存的实词定义方式有三种:由意义入手、由功能入手和空缺,三种方式既前后相继,又同时并存,它们分别立足于传统语法和结构主义语法,因而各有其产生依据,但是也都存在着或多或少的不足。比较合理的是兼顾意义和功能两个方面的"复合式"定义。The definition methods of notional words,according to the three ways of meaning,function and vacant,are used in succession and exist at the same time.The three methods are generated on different basis with more or less flaws due to the fact that they are based on traditional grammar and structural grammar respectively.A relative reasonable method is to combine definition based on both meaning and function.
