摘　　要：文明久远的亚非民族,在民族发展和交往中产生了早期的民族意识。而现代意义的"东方民族主义"是在反帝、反殖,救亡图存的历史情境中产生发展,它受到西方民族主义的启发又具有自身的特点。中外一些学者对东方民族主义的独特内涵有过论述。在特定历史文化语境中产生发展的东方现代民族主义表现出几个方面的独特个性:被动应对性、民族文化认同性和错综复杂性。Asian and African nations with long history and glorious civilization have generated early national consciousness in the process of national development and exchanges.However,＂Oriental Nationalism＂,in the modern sense,was born and developed under the circumstances of anti-imperialist,anti-colonial and national salvation,which was affected by western nationalism and maintained its own traits.Some scholars at home and abroad have talked about the unique connotation in terms of oriental nationalism.The oriental modern nationalism born and developed in the specific historical and cultural context is characterized by several unique personalities： passive response,national culture identification and complication.
