摘　　要：Aristotle structured his aesthetic theory in the western cultural history for the first time,that is,his Poetry.He abstracted the spirit of Greek literature from the view of philosophy and created the great works of western aesthetics.Among his Poetry theories,the tragic theory accounts for a considerable proportion.This thesis analyzes the life of poor Tess based on his tragic theory to see the significance and profound influence of Aristotle's theory.Aristotle structured his aesthetic theory in the western cultural history for the first time,that is,his Poetry.He abstracted the spirit of Greek literature from the view of philosophy and created the great works of western aesthetics.Among his Poetry theories,the tragic theory accounts for a considerable proportion.This thesis analyzes the life of poor Tess based on his tragic theory to see the significance and profound influence of Aristotle＇s theory.
