摘　　要：课程教学应注重受教育者的主体性,培养思维能力和实践能力。生命与食品科学概论是一门重要的公共选修课程。论文阐明了工科院校非生物类专业开设生命科学选修课程的必要性,介绍了生命科学概论教学体系与教学方法,着重论述了注重实用教学内容、改革教学方法和丰富考核方式的教学模式改革内容。Educate subjective, innovative ability and practical ability in curriculum teaching should be paid attention. Life science is an important public selective course. The necessity of life science course for non biology and food major was elucidated. Life science teaching system and teaching method were introduced. The practical teaching content, teaching methods and testing methods were analyzed in this paper.
