摘　　要：树管是一种使落叶树木免于兔子、鹿和机械伤害的有效方法。树管有4英尺高,是半透明的聚乙烯圆柱体,能使足够的光透过射到苗木上。树管优点是：能够形成理想的生长环境;能够提供100%的湿度;能够保持管内较高温度;能够产生温室环境;生长量增加3-4倍;促进直立生长;苗木免受风的危害。Tree tubes are an effective method to protect deciduous trees from rabbits,deer,and mechanical injuries.The tubes are 4-foot tall,translucent polyethylene cylinders which allow enough light transmission to reach the seedling.Tree tubes advantages： creates ideal growing climate;provides 100% humidity;keeps temperature inside higher;creates greenhouse atmosphere;three to four times faster growth;encourages straight growth;shelter seedlings from drying winds.
