摘　　要：A novel chromone, named chaetoaurin （1）, along with six known chromone derivatives （2-7）, was isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of a solid-state fermented culture of Chaetomium aureus. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectral analysis.
