摘　　要：本文认为语境这一概念在关联(翻译)理论中居于核心地位,它与系统功能语言学派及其他语言学派乃至各大翻译理论学派提出的语境概念大相径庭。因此,应当将关联理论的语境与之区分开来,并且应当正确认识这一概念与关联理论其他核心概念之间的密切关系。否则,很难真正发挥关联理论的作用。The paper holds that context in Relevance theory（RT） takes on a central role and is entirely different from the notion of context described in Systemic-functional Linguistic school and other linguistic schools and translation theories.Therefore,it is indispensable to distinguish the former from the latter.Meanwhile,it is a must to grasp the notion of context in RT and its close relation with other key notions in the theory.Otherwise,it is impossible for the researchers concerned to make good use of it.
