摘 要:在新媒介时代,信息技术的快速发展和语言文化的多元融合使得以语言为中心的传统识读教学法不再适应多种语言、多元文化、多模态的社会。为此,新伦敦团体提出多元识读教学法以提高学习者的多模态意义识读能力。本文回顾了多元识读能力研究的发展历史,从理论框架和教与学模型等不同角度对多元识读教学法进行了阐述。文章评价了这一新识读教学法,并指出了它对我国外语教学的启示。In the New Media Age, the traditional language-centered literacy pedagogy can no longer satisfy the demand of the muhilingual, multicultural and muhimodal society due to the fast development of information and communications tech- nology and the increasing integration of cultural and linguistic diversity. Given this situation, the New London Group put forward a pedagogy of multiliteracies in 1996. This paper, based on a historical overview of literacy and multiliteracies studies, expounds this new approach to literacy pedagogy in terms of the framework and the model. The paper also makes some comments on the new pedagogy which provides directions and guidance for foreign language teaching in China.
