文本的语言功能与《天真时代》的译文研究

摘　　要：本文以The Age of Innocence第一节、第二节的译文为例,以文本的语言功能在源语和译语中的体现和构建为基础,分析语言功能在翻译中的作用。小说翻译中,译者应使原文的语言功能尽可能在译文得以体现,译语与原语语言的功能尽量达到对等。译者应准确识别语言功能,突出主要功能,当然也应兼顾次要功能。Taking the translation works of the first two sections inThe Age of Innocence , starting from the text linguistic function representation and construction in the source language and the target language, the paper analyses the functions of linguistic functions in translation works. In novel translation, though translators can＇t ensure that all textual linguistic functions get the due representation, they should try their best to make the linguistic function in the source language represented in the translation work. The linguistic function in the target language should be equivalent to that in the source language. Translators should accurately identify the linguistic function, focusing its main functions, as well as consideration of its minor functions.
