全英语教学可行性研究——对复旦大学“公共关系学”课程的案例分析

摘　　要：专业课全英语教学模式在大学渐受青睐,而大多数研究认为制约这一模式进行的是学生的英语水平。我们对复旦大学的一门外籍教师上的"公共关系学"课程进行了案例分析,结论是具有大学英语四级水平以上的学生具备了上全英语课程的语言能力,关键是坚持和信心。我们需要在改变学生的观念、大学英语教学的理念和大学英语课程设置上做出努力,创造条件使学生更好更快地适应全英语教学模式。The use of whole English to teach content subjects （English medium instruction） is gaining an increasing popularity in Chinese universities. It is generally held that English proficiency is a barrier to most Chinese students. But the study of Public Relation, a course offered by a foreign professor in Fudan University reveals that those with good scores in the CET （Band 4） test can manage the immersion model. The key is persistency and confidence when difficulty arises. The efforts also should be made to change the way they think of the model, the concept of College English teaching to adapt its curriculum to the immersion model
