摘　　要：独立学院大学生由于文化基础薄弱,存在一些不利于自身成长成才的思想行为倾向,例如集体主义观念淡薄、自控能力和纪律性较差等。高校国防教育不仅增强了大学生的国防观念,更能潜移默化地提升独立学院大学生科学文化素质、增强集体主义精神、磨练大学生意志,成为了大学生综合素质养成的重要载体。Due to weak foundation on knowlege,independent colleges＇ students have some thinking and behavior tendencies which affect their growth and success,such as poor sense of collectivism,self-control,discipline and so on. National defense education not only can enhance the sense of national defense,but also can improve the scientific quality of independent colleges＇ students. It＇s good to strengthen the collectivism spirit and sharpen students＇ will. National defense education has been an important measure for improving overall quality of independent colleges＇ students.
