摘　　要：高等教育的现代化是高等教育不断走向国际化,扩大和加深国际合作与交流的过程。高等教育的民族化强调保持、保护并发扬本民族的优良高等教育传统。优秀价值观念、思维方式和教育制度,是实现高等教育现代化的重要前提。只有将国际化和民族化统一起来,才能加快高等教育现代化的步伐。The modernization of higher education is a process to internationalize higher education and to expand and deepen international cooperation and exchange. The nationalization of higher education foeuses on maintaining, protecting and prorooting the fine traditions. Good values, thinking modes and education system of the national higher education are the important premise of realizing the modernization of higher education. Only when the intemational and the nationalization are united, the pace of the modernization of higher education can be accelerated.
