摘　　要：As introduced at the recently held workshop on formulation of the biodiversity conservation strategy and action plan, China has put forward its short-, medium- and long-term objectives for biodiversity conservation in the coming 20 years in accordance with the National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan （2011-2030） for the purpose of ensuring conservation and sustainable utilization of bio- diversity, facilitating development of an eco-friendly society, and promoting harmony between man and nature.
