摘 要:家庭是大众初等教育的天然场所,家庭教育是英国非正式教育的重要形式,在英国教育发展进程中一直发挥重要作用。16—18世纪社会发展对家庭教育提出新的要求,促使家庭教育在教育内容和教育方式上发生新的变化。由于社会和家庭对成员文化教养的需求不断增加与家庭提供教育的条件有限之间的矛盾,催生了英国近代初等学校教育,进而推动了国民教育体系的形成和完善。The family was the natural site for the elementary education, and family education, which was the important form of the informal education in England, had been playing the important role in the progress of the educational development. The new demands of the social development and urged the transformation of the family education. There was the contradiction between the growing demand for the education of the members and the limitation of the education provision of families, which speeded up the development of the elementary school education in modern England, and inspired the formation and development of the national education system.
