摘　　要："土燥水竭证"是对《伤寒论》阳明三急下证和少阴三急下证的高度概括。仲景以大承气汤"截断扭转"以达急下存阴、釜底抽薪之效,该证该法的研究更是倍受重视。作者通过对"截断疗法"及"土燥水竭证"源流考证,深入探求"土燥水竭证"中应用"截断疗法"的机理,为现代中医临床应用"截断疗法"提供一定的理论依据。＂Earth-drying and Water-exhaustion＂syndrome is the masterly generalization of three emergent purgation syndromes of Yangming disease and three emergent purgation syndromes of Shaoyin disease in Treatise on Cold-induced Febrile Diseases.ZHANG Zhong-jing adopted＂Blocking and Reversing Therapy＂with Dachengqi Decoction to Preserve Yin by emergent purgation,and good results have been achieved,so the study of this syndrome and therapy are greatly admired.The writer deeply analyses the application mechanism of＂Blocking and Reversing Therapy＂in＂Earth-drying and Water-exhaustion＂ syndrome by studying the source and historical material of the therapy and syndrome.Hopefully to provide the theoretical basis when using＂Blocking and Reversing Therapy＂in modern clinical Chinese medicine.
