摘　　要：纵观隐喻研究史,替代论、比较论、互动论是隐喻的三大经典理论。学界普遍认为亚里士多德是替代论的代表,而后两种理论是在这一理论的基础上发展起来的。其实,研究者和批评者大多误解了亚里士多德的隐喻观。通过对隐喻理论批评进行再批评,一方面可以还亚里士多德以本来面目,另一方面也能使我们更深入地理解隐喻的本质与机制以及隐喻之于人类的意义。Three classic metaphor theories known respectively as substitution,comparison,and interaction dominate the history of metaphor research,and it is held that Aristotle is the representative of the first,from which the next two theories have stemmed.As a matter of fact,most researchers and critics have misunderstood Aristotle's view of metaphor.Through a critique of the criticisms of metaphor theories,we can reinstate Aristotle,and on the other hand we can have a better understanding of the nature and mechanism of metaphor as well as its significance to human beings.
