摘　　要：区域生态旅游适宜度评价是土地适宜性评价中一个较新的领域。川西高原由于其脆弱的生态环境和近年较快的旅游发展速度,成为我国生态旅游研究中一个值得关注的区域。本研究将两者有机结合,对川西高原生态旅游适宜度进行评价。以GIS和人工神经网络为评价手段,地理网格作为评价单元,从生态旅游的概念和内涵出发,得出区域生态旅游适宜度的四个影响因素:生态旅游资源、环境承载力、旅游基础条件、当地社会经济状况,进而构建了评价指标体系,从而形成了一套完整的区域生态旅游适宜度评价方法。评价结果将川西高原生态旅游适宜度分成四个等级:高适宜、中适宜、低适宜、不适宜,并相应地将川西高原生态旅游分成四个区:九寨沟-茂县-康定一线的高适宜区;若尔盖-马尔康-雅江-稻城条带状分布的中适宜区;以新龙县为中心呈三叉状分布的低适宜区;石渠、色达、壤塘三县为主的不适宜区。Ecotourism suitability evaluation is a relatively new field in the area of land suitability evaluation.There are numerous studies which focus on land suitability evaluation,yet very limited attention is paid to ecotourism suitability evaluation.Investigation and evaluation of ecotourism resources and the ecotourism environment are helpful for determining whether a particular area is suited for ecotourism activities,providing a theoretically reasonable basis for the functional division and activities in ecotourism planning,and a foundation for sustainable development of the ecotourism industry.The western Sichuan Plateau is rich in ecotourism resources,having two world natural heritage sites,three state-level scenic spots,seven sites referred to as＂the most beautiful place in China＂by Chinese National Geography.In addition to abundant high quality ecotourism resources,it is indeed an ideal destination for ecotourism.The western Sichuan Plateau ranges in latitude roughly between 27°10＇N and 34°19＇N and in longitude between 97°21＇E and 106°3＇E,on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.It is the transition zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Sichuan Basin,being of great ecological and environmental significance.Unsuitable ecotourism activities would result in negative impacts on the environment over there.This paper investigates factors affecting the regional ecotourism suitability from the concept and connotation of ecotourism,the environment carrying capacity,basic conditions for tourism,as well as the local socio-economic conditions using GIS-based spatial analysis and the artificial neural network（ANN）.Subsequently,the authors developed an evaluation index system and a complete set of methods for regional ecotourism suitability evaluation.Results showed that the suitability of the ecotourism across the western Sichuan Plateau can generally be divided into four grades：high suitability,moderate suitability,low suitability,and unsuitability.In terms of the division,the western
