摘　　要：自动车牌识别作为高精度的车辆识别中的核心技术,在智能交通中发挥着日益关键的作用.构建一种改进的BP神经网络识别车牌字符,并在VC++6.0环境下测试,实验结果表明系统具有良好的有效性,并能满足实时车牌识别的要求.A Automatic recognition of the vehicle license plate plays a key role in intelligent Transportation as highly accurate technology for car identification. A license plate character recognition method basedon improved BP neural network is proposed. The recognition using Microsoft Visual C＋＋6.0 software is simulated and the experiments show that this system has good efficiency and quick speed of recognition.
