摘　　要：唐代民间信仰中的鬼魂信仰承载并推动了具有重情特色唐小说发展的步伐,唐代"鬼故事"借鬼魂信仰之外壳,着重表现了唐代青年人不被接受的爱情,具有时代进步色彩;唐代精怪信仰故事延续魏晋以来精怪故事模式,因富有谐趣精神在唐小说中自成门类,并成为精怪小说的一种传统模式加以延续。神灵信仰作为权力的代表在唐小说中呈现出新的变化,一是神灵的权力在世俗信仰世界的不断下降,一是人性化色彩逐渐加深,而后者正是唐小说最根本的风格和特色所在。The author has conducted a study based on the data derived from 《太平广记》（A Series Collection of Tang Novels） and drawn the following conclusions： the belief in ghosts contributed to the development of Tang novels in that it represented the youth＇s love,which was unaccepted at that time,and thereby foretold the trend of history development;fairy tales in the Tang Dynasty shared the same narration with those of the Wei-Jin Dynasty,and consequently formed a new kind of novels,which is development of the traditional Wei-Jin Dynasty;the belief in ghosts,serving as a spokesman for influence,took on a new evolution in the decline of the ghost influence upon folk belief as well as in the rising of humanistic motif which is the essential style and character of Tang novels.
