摘  要:依据应力性状和力源特征,中国大陆现代构造应力场可划分为四级应力区。它们分别是2个一级应力区、4个二级应力区、5个三级应力区和26个四级应力区。通过分析中国大陆现代构造应力分区与强震活动之间的关系,初步获得以下结论:①构造应力作用强烈和复杂的地区是强震频发的地区;②应力区边界是强震集中发生的地带;③应力方向、应力结构类型或强度的变化地区通常也是强震发生的地带;④均匀区域应力场背景上的局部应力变化区是强震活动相对集中的地区;⑤活动断裂带上构造应力类型变化的部位是易发生强震的地点。According to the stress state and genetic force character,the modern tectonic stress field of China can be preliminarily divided into 4categories.Within these categories,there are 2first-order districts,4second-order districts,5third-order districts and 26 fourth-order districts.By analyzing those tectonic stress districts and strong earthquakes,the close relation between them is mainly summarized as follows:①Strong earthquakes fre-quently occur in the area with intense and complex tectonic stress action;② Along the boundary of stress districts,especially between the first-or second-order districts controlled by the interaction of tectonic plates,strong earthquakes occur very easily and frequently;③ Strong earthquakes always occur in the zone with a rapid change of stress direction or values;④Strong earthquakes relatively concentrate in the area with local variation of the stress,which situates in the homogeneous background of stress;⑤Stress transformation zone along active faults is more likely to have strong earthquakes.
