摘　　要："土燥水竭证"首见于东汉张仲景的《伤寒论》,是对著名的阳明三急下证和少阴三急下证的高度概括。仲景以大承气汤"截断扭转"以达急下存阴、釜底抽薪之效,至今仍用而不衰,尤其对后世产生了极其深远的影响。文章深入探析其对后世中医温病学和中医急症发展的影响,以及应用注意事项。旨在为现代中医临床应用"截断疗法"进一步提供理论依据,以利于更好的继承与发展。＂Earth-drying and Water-exhaustion＂ syndrome is the masterly generalization of three emergent purgation syndromes of Yangming disease and three emergent purgation syndromes of Shaoyin disease in Treatise on Cold-induced Febrile Diseases.ZHANG Zhong-jing adopted＂Blocking and Reversing Therapy＂with Dachengqi Decoction to Preserve Yin by emergent purgation,and good results have been achieved,so the study of this syndrome and therapy are greatly admired and influenced later generations deeply and widely.The writer analyses the application of＂Blocking and Reversing Therapy＂in＂Earth-drying and Water-exhaustion＂ syndrome and its influence on Epidemic Febrile Diseases,modern TCM acute disease and using attentions.Hopefully to get better inheritance and development of this theory in clinical Chinese medicine.
