摘　　要：Vitreoscillais a Gram negative obligate aerobic bacterium , whose mostimportant prop ertyisthe ability to producethe Vitreoscilla hemoglobin (VHb) .VHbisencoded by asingle gene called Vitreoscilla hemoglobin gene (vgb) containing the naturalpromoter,and the expression of vgb geneis regulated by dissolved oxygen atthe level oftranscription . The oxygen binding VHb participateinthe metobolism processofcellsand makethem grow wellinthe hypoxic habitats.Ital so facilitates the bacteria growing and the potein producing obviously.
