摘　　要：本文通过黔南州图书馆围绕开展建设学习型社会这一宗旨所做的图书馆推广服务活动,阐明了终身学习是公共图书馆革新的主要观念和指导原则,是二十一世纪图书馆发展的特色。公共图书馆应积极发挥其功能和角色,以丰富多彩的文化活动,为大众求知和丰富精神生活搭建有效的平台,为建设学习型社会营造良好氛围。Around the purpose of building a study-orient society,the library of Qiannan state carries out the extension service activities.The article clarifies the life-long learning is the main concepts and innovative guidelines of public library.It is also the features of library development in the 21st century.The public library should perform its functions and roles actively to build knowledge and rich spiritual life＇s platform for the public with a variety of cultural activities,and create a good atmosphere for building study-orient society.
