An Education of Their Own——Compare Virgina Woolf's and Adrienne Rich's Arguments about Women's Education

摘　　要：Both Virginia Woolf in her A Room of One's Own and Adrienne Rich in her "Claiming an Education" argue the importance of education,but among the elements that influence women's creative activity and achievements,Woolf attaches the greatest importance to material wealth,while Rich focuses more on women's education.This study finds that an education of women's own should precede a room of her own.Both Virginia Woolf in her A Room of One＇ s Own and Adrienne Rich in her ＂Chiming an Education＂ argue the importance of education, but among the dements that influence women＇ s creative activity and achievements, Woolf attaches the greatest importance to material wealth, while Rich focuses more on women＇s education. This study finds that an education of women＇s own should precede a room of her own.
