由《献给艾米莉的玫瑰》看福克纳的风格特色

摘　　要：为了阐释福克纳的写作风格特色,从生动的人物形象、独特的写作手法和深刻的主题意义等3个角度对其短篇小说《献给艾米莉的玫瑰》进行解读。分析认为,作者运用凝练的笔触、独特的结构、隐喻的手法,塑造了代表美国南北战争时期南方传统势力及其价值观念的矛盾形象艾米莉;通过解读艾米莉的悲剧命运,揭示了当时美国南方历史与现实中的父权制度、奴隶制、种族主义和清教主义的种种罪恶。In order to interpret the characteristics of Faulkner＇s writing style,his short story A Rose for Emily is analyzed from three angles of vivid characters,unique writing technique and profound theme.The analysis indicates that the author uses concise writing style,unique structure and metaphor to create a complicated character Emily,representative of southern traditional forces and traditional values during the Civil War.Analysis of Emily＇s tragedy reveals the patriarchal system,slavery,racism and Puritanism.
