摘　　要：概念隐喻理论和类包涵理论分别探讨了隐喻的概念性和范畴化的问题,理论阐述中两个理论的提出者却不能相容。本文分析了它们的分歧和相互指责,认为两个理论所涉及的隐喻概念性和范畴化是隐喻内在统一的两个不同方面,在隐喻研究中应当重视两者的结合。Conceptual metaphor theory and class-inclusion theory are respectively concerned with the conceptual and categorical nature of metaphor. In their theorizations the initiators of them exhibited a strong antagonism toward each other. After an analysis of their divergences and mutual criticisms,this paper argues that the conceptual and categorical nature are two intrinsically interconnected facets of metaphor and hence the two theories should stand in complementation rather than in hostility.
