摘　　要：直接邻域保护嵌入算法(DNPE)是一种以克服小样本问题而提出的NPE扩展算法,该算法通过同时对角化的方法求解邻域保护嵌入问题,避免矩阵的奇异性。在人脸数据库ORL上的测试结果表明,该算法的识别率比PCA,PCA+LDA,NPE高。Direct NPE（DNPE） is an extension of neighborhood preserving embedding to deal with the small sample size problem,this algorithm solves neighborhood preserving embedding problem via simultaneous diagonalization,and can avoid the singularity of matrices.Experimental results on the face database ORL show that this algorithm is more powerful than PCA,PCA＋LDA and NPE recognition.
