摘　　要：本文从历史、地理、社会等方面对中英问候语的特点进行分析,试图找出其中隐含的深刻文化内涵。在探索分析的过程中,用实例证明不同的社会生存背景、不同的文化背景、不同的思维方式以及不同的价值取向对语言的使用有着深刻的影响。这类研究有助于促进不同语言和文化背景下人们之间在交流时的相互理解。This paper tries to find out the deep cultural implications in greetings through analyzing the characteristics of Chinese and English greetings from the perspective of history,social,etc.During the process of analysis and study,concrete examples are used to illustrate that different social living backgrounds,different cultures,different thinking ways and different values influence people＇s use of languages deeply.This kind of study is very helpful for promoting understanding between speakers of different languages and cultures.
