摘　　要："感冒"作为病名,最早出现于《医宗金鉴》。而根据文献记载来看,"感冒"的词义应当来源于"感冒风寒",但词形并非由"感冒风寒"缩略而来。运用相因生义的理论,解释了"感冒"的来源及其得以保存的原因。Ganmao（meaning cold）,as the name of disease,first appeared in Yi Zhong Jin Jian 9Golden Mirror of Medicine.According to the documents,its meaning came from ganmao shanghan（meaning wind cold）,but the form of the word is not abbreviated from ganmao shanghan.This paper explains the origin and causes of ganmao according to the theory of meaning produced by relative causes.
