摘　　要：近年来,随着我国经济的快速增长及国际地位的不断提升,旅游翻译已引起国内研究者越来越多的关注与重视,但翻译中存在的问题很多,其中尤以文化信息缺省现象为甚。中西文化差异、汉英语言差异及译者翻译策略的选用是导致旅游文化信息缺省的主要原因。With the steady growth of China＇s economy and the increasing promotion of its international status,tourism translation has received domestic researchers＇ growing attraction over the recent years.But there are many questions existing in it,of which the loss of cultural information is the commonest.The author holds that the disparities between the Chinese and western cultures,differences between Chinese and English and the choice or application of translation strategies adopted by translators are the main causes of the loss of cultural information in tourism translation.
