用数字看中国成人高等教育的发展

摘　　要：通过对有关数据的统计分析,揭示了在高等教育大众化的过程中,我国成人高等教育发展变化的特征和趋势:在大众化进程中,成人高等教育发挥了重要作用;1999年以后,普通高校一直是举办成人高等教育的主力军;成人教育的业余性日益凸显;本科发展速度明显高于专科,成人高等教育办学层次逐渐高移;成人高等教育的报名人数与招生计划逐渐接近,学历教育生源越来越少等。根据成人高等教育的发展趋势,笔者认为:转型是成人高等教育发展的必然要求,为此,需要进一步开放成人高等教育、转变办学方向、转变服务对象,建立起宏观、中观、微观的质量监控和评价体系,逐步提高办学层次。Through the related data statistics and analysis, this paper discovers some features and trends in the development of Chinese adult higher education. In terms of expansion speed, ordinary higher education develops faster than adult higher education does and plays a leading role in the process of elite education developing into populace education; In terms of main body in schooling, ordinary universities have been main supporting force offering adult higher education ; In terms of hierarchical structure, adult undergraduate education develops faster than adult faculty level education does; In terms of category structure, correspondence education in spare time has gained sustainable development while adult full-time education has declined ; In terms of recruitment, the number of register and the number of enrollment have been approaching gradually.
