摘　　要：成人高等教育型是对成人高等教育基本特征的总体概括和描述,是一个时期成人高等教育的基本存在方式。根据不同时期成人高等教育基本价值取向的不同,可将我国成人高等教育型依次划分为学历导向、职业导向和学习导向三种,简称学历型成人高等教育、职业型成人高等教育和学习型成人高等教育。进入新的世纪以来,我国成人高等教育发展面临着严峻的挑战,实现成人高等教育从传统的学历导向型向现代的学习导向型的转型,是实现成人高等教育健康有序发展的关键。这是成人高等教育基本型态的更替,是一种积极的变化过程,具有确定的方向性;是一种深层次的变革过程,具有全面性;是一个艰巨的过程,具有长期性。The paradigm of adult higher education(AHE) is the overall generalization and description of the main characteristics of AHE existing in a certain period of time.According to its different orientations,AHE in China in different periods of time could be divided into three categories,i.e.credentials-oriented,occupation-oriented,and learning-oriented AHE,or rather,credential,occupational,and learning AHE.Since the entry into the new millennium,the development of AHE in China has been facing severe challenges,while the key to its healthy and orderly development lies in its transformation from the traditional credentials-oriented AHE to modern learning-oriented one.That is a fundamental paradigm shift in AHE in China,a proactive,transformational process with a designated direction,an in-depth,comprehensive revolution and a formidable,long-term undertaking.
