摘　　要：经济的高速增长会给我们的地球带来更大的伤害?国家与地方政府在环境保护与经济发展之间的冲突和矛盾引起了媒体和政府高层的高度关注。环境标准的设定与经济的可持续发展在矛盾和冲突中走向和谐,这已经成为世界各国的共识。环境标准是经济可持续发展的前提和保证,经济可持续发展可以促进环境标准的改进与完善。虽然我国幅员辽阔,物产资源丰富,但人口基数大,人均资源比较贫乏。在我国经济快速发展的关键时期,我们必须正确处理好环境标准与经济可持续发展之间的关系,进一步完善我国的环境标准,促进我国经济又好又快地发展。Does rapid economic growth bring the Earth greater harm？ The conflict and contradiction between State and local governments on the issues of environmental protection and economic development caused great concern of the media and senior government officials. It has become the common view all over the world that, the setting of environmental standards and sustainable development of economy go into the state of harmony in the process of contradictions and conflicts. Environmental standards are the prerequisite and guarantee for sustainable development of economy, and sustainable development of economy can promote the improvement and imperfection of environmental standards. Although China occupies vast territory and abundant natural resources, its resources per capita is relatively poor due to the large population base. In the critical period of China＇s rapid economic development, we must correctly handle the relationship between environmental standards and sustainable development of economy, further improve China＇s environmental standards and promote sound and rapid development of China＇s economy.
