摘　　要：文章根据系统功能语言学理论,从英语诗歌语篇衔接的角度来研究克雷格·雷恩的诗歌《一个火星人寄一张明信片回家》(A Martian Sends a Postcard Home),探讨该诗歌的语篇衔接特征。文章主要考察了隐喻、词汇衔接和语法衔接机制对实现语篇连贯、获得"陌生化"效果、实现全诗意义的作用。This paper,based on Systemic Functional Linguistics ,studies Craig Raine＇ s poem A Martian Sends a Postcard Home from English text cohesion perspective to discuss the characteristics of its text cohesion. It first analyzes the textual function of metaphor in the poem. Then it makes a closer examination at the lexical and grammatical cohesive devices and their contribution to textual coherence, ＇ defamiliarizing＇ effect and the meaning of the poem.
