摘　　要：Prices of both raw materials and products in China＇s emerald industry soared in 2010. In Tengchong County in Yunnan Province, the price of a high-grade raw emerald increased from RMB 3 million （USD 0.46 million） per kilo to more than RMB 10 million （USD 1.52 million） per kilo in just a few days.
