摘　　要：本文从历次信息革命对社会发展的影响谈起，阐述了信息技术的发展过程及社会经济的几个发展阶段，论述了现代信息技术是知识经济的技术支撑，知识经济是现代信息技术的价值体现。This article reviews the role of information revolution in social development first. It . relates the development course of information technique and several development stages of social economy. It expounds that modern in formation technique is the technical sustain of knowledge economy and knowledge economy is the valus reflection of modern in formation technique.
