“文学性”与“演剧性”的融汇——从《当代英国及爱尔兰戏剧指南》看戏剧史写作

摘　　要：当代英国戏剧的嬗变,不仅由美学理念、戏剧文本、舞台表演、导演理念等戏剧因素决定,也直接受制于大众传媒、政治形势、高新技术、社会需求等话语因素。力作《当代英国及爱尔兰戏剧指南》经由文本审美分析和演剧实践考察对当代英国戏剧进行了学理探讨,使戏剧的"文学性"与"演剧性"彼此融汇。由此,当代英国戏剧研究不仅要关注"文学性"与"演剧性"的纠葛,也要牵涉历史场景、社会生活、文化传统、传播途径、宗教精神等时代话语,更要添加政治史、思想史和社会史的学术视野。Contemporary British and Irish drama not only depends on aesthetics ideas,dramatic texts,stage performance and director＇s thoughts,but also is enslaved to the popular media,political situation,new techniques and socical needs. Through close reading of the dramatic texts and observation of the performance of these texts,A Concise Companion to Contemporary British and Irish Drama examines the situation of contemporary British drama. It successfully syncretizes the literariness and theatricalicality. Theatre research should not only pay attention to the imbroglio of literariness and theatricalicality,but also deal with different discources,such as historical scenes,social life,cultural tradition,spreading approaches and religious spirit. Meanwhile,it should also involve academic perspectives of politics,ideology and socical history.
