商务英语文本的多词单位分析

摘　　要：通过对商务英语语料库和通用英语语料库中多词单位的比较分析,本文调查了商务英语文本中多词单位的分布特征、形式与功能。研究发现,随着长度的增加,多词单位形式越趋向于固定,意义表述也越明确。多词单位在一定的语法结构内可供词语选择的空间很大,具有开放性和动态性,形成了语义、语法和语境的结合体;对于商务英语教学而言,学习和应用模块化的表达,有助于提高学生创造性地学习和使用语言的能力。Through the contrastive analysis of multi-word units respectively from BEC （Business English Corpus） and BNC （British National Corpus）, this paper investigates the distributional characteristics, pattern forms and pragmatic functions of multi-word units in Business English texts. It is found that the longer the unit is in Business English texts, the more fixed the structure and the clearer its meaning. Multi-word units are dynamic and open to many choices of lexis in a specific grammatical structure and form a unity of semantic meaning, grammatical rule and pragmatic context. A good command of ready-made multi-word units will enable the EFL learners to use Business English with greater fluency and creativeness.
