摘　　要：邵冯本《现代汉语概论》既注意充分吸收以往各种教材的长处,又积极吸收当代语言科学研究的最新成果,着力突出那些对当代大学生来说最需要、最重要的现代汉语理论知识,着眼于培养他们的语言理解能力、语言表达能力、发现分析和解决语言问题的能力,是一本继承和创新相结合的好教材。An Introduction to Modern Chinese by Shao Aiji and Feng Shouzhong not only pays attention to fully absorbing the advantages of all kinds of past textbooks,but also actively utilizes the latest achievements of scientific research in contemporary language.The book makes efforts to highlight modern Chinese theory which is most important for the contemporary college students,and focuses on developing the students＇ language comprehension ability,language skills,and abilities to discover,analyze and solve the language problem.The book is an excellent textbook with a balanced combination of inheritance and innovation.
